Experience

Product Designer at Apadmi

– Oct 26

Delivered product design across various agency clients and new business pitches, spanning UX, UI, illustration and animation depending on each project's needs.

  • Mapped end-to-end customer journey for global travel company, consolidating scattered communication channels into a single app and running gap analysis to surface "dead time" in the experience; extended the app into pre-trip planning, in-trip companion experience, AI-assisted holiday planning and high-fidelity iOS concepts, making it more useful to users throughout their trip.
  • UX app audit and competitor research for a global quick-service food brand, translating findings into modernised, more on-brand app concepts built to drive engagement and revenue, including loyalty, gamification and a highly visual product-ordering flow.
  • Designed support journeys for a student accommodation provider, covering halls-issue reporting, maintenance requests and parcel collection in line with business service-level agreements (SLAs), including visual timeline designs that gave users an actionable, easy-to-understand view of each request's status.
  • Audited and benchmarked a fashion and homeware retailer's shopping app against established UX patterns, information architecture and WCAG accessibility guidance, then updated the product listing (PLP) and product description pages (PDP) to address touch-accessibility issues and standardise ordering flows, working within strict limits on what could be changed.
  • Designed a consolidated bookings and earnings feature for a holiday letting platform, bringing income, occupancy and notices directly into the existing calendar for an at-a-glance, actionable picture, alongside performance and forecast views for spotting trends over time.
  • Reskinned a white-label promotional in-app game for a pub and hospitality client's rewards app with on-brand background and drink illustrations.
  • Designed and animated on-brand marketing assets, videos, product pages and feature graphics for retail, food and drink and student accommodation clients, and storyboarded, animated and edited corporate-event videos for an aviation services client using After Effects and Premiere Pro.

Product Designer at Arctic Shores

Worked across level design, concept art, animation, character design, UI and UX for six gamified mobile assessments, partnering with the science team to translate validated paper-based psychometric tests into engaging digital experiences without compromising test validity.

  • Worked on end-to-end product design in partnership with the science team, translating validated psychometric assessments into fun, engaging gamified mobile experiences, spanning discovery, concept art, level design, illustration, UI and UX.
  • Helped design a SaaS platform that enabled employers to configure assessments and track candidate results themselves, while moving candidate onboarding and testing entirely into the browser and replacing a manual, app-download-based process.
  • Designed onboarding flows for both employers and candidates as part of the move to the SaaS platform, including a highly visual level-selection and progress screen with micro-animations that gave candidates clear visibility into their progress and remaining time.
  • Delivered bespoke rebrands of gamified assessments for individual clients, handling illustration, UI and branding work directly for each.
  • Built a branding-customisation feature within the SaaS platform that let clients recolour UI and illustrations, and add their own logo, with guardrails that automatically maintained WCAG contrast standards regardless of colour choice, so clients could rebrand assessments themselves without additional design work.
